How long will that HoloSight stay on the gun? Will you be timing it?

Shep .. I wondered that when I fitted it!! Mind you, the mount rail is Magnum Research's own . supplied ... its a near perfect fit and has a recoil ledge at rear ..... screws locktited in ... and HoloSight has cross bolt sitting in rail slot ... nothing can really go anwhere, in theory!.

However, considering relative recoils and severity .. I actually hope it'll not shift at all. My .454 SRH red dot has survived so far and that is one heavy kickin beast. The weight of this gun and the lower pressure rounds should actually not give it too hard a time. The more I explore this . the more it seems that this gun should not feel any worse in use than say, my 4" M629........probably better, with all that weight.

Steve .. sounds like we have the makings of a nice movie! In all seriousness in fact . given time and effort, it could make a very watchable deal. As for Floyd soundtrack ..... rock on! End of movie will have ''run like hell''

I would love to have one .....but I'd be paranoid that I would accidentally pick up a box of my "Super Duper Tyrannosaur Killer" loads that I shoot from my long gun and I'd have to have the hammer spur removed from my forehead at the emergency room.

Man, that gun is just so big and bad it's comical.
Around these parts the most common name for that particular gun is 'Maxine'.
Don't ask me why...
