Mueller scope on a 22-250 - can it handle recoil?

Mueller Optics 4.5-14x40mm AO APV Rifle Scope

I have one of these on my Savage 17 HMR and absolutely love it. I am a Mueller Optics fan.
I am wondering if the same scope can handle the recoil on a Ruger M77 Hawkeye 22-250 I just bought.
I don't want to spend a whole lot of money and I already know what to expect looking through one of these.
I have read where some people have mounted this scope on larger centerfire rifles without any problems.

I think it would match the matte SS rings and barrel on my all weather Ruger very nicely. I looked at the Mueller Optics 8.5-25x50mm Eraticator but the crosshairs and dot are getting some negative comments. However that scope can handle what kick this Ruger will put out. Thank you!

Bought one .... apparently it should work fine from advice I have been given by some of my more knowledgeable friends.
I will give a report later on. If it doesn't hold zero, I guess I can put it on my 22 mag. These scopes in my opinion, are pretty darn good for the money.

I just watched a youtube by TwangandBang about this scope and he mentioned that Mueller has a lifetime guarantee on this for calibers up to 300. Phew ... glad to hear that. I probably have the paperwork in my other box for the black one I already have but never thought to check it out. Now I am excited to be getting one in the mail and glad I chose this scope.
