How do you keep your glasses (prescription or pure protection) from interfering with ear muffs?

Not everyone has bad eyes but everyone should be using eye protection.

My wife has trouble with this. She wears prescription lenses so getting something different is not an option.

I got her some in-ear plugs but the protection is less than with muffs and you have to make sure they are in properly.

Same problem here. I have never found a perfect answer. Only way I deal with it is to use both plugs and muffs.

Keep an eye on this thread:
molded plugs

Molded plugs may be an answer. I've had instructors that used them without muffs. Don't know if they would do that normally if they were the ones shooting, though.

I also double up, using plugs and muffs. The quality of the muffs plays into their effectiveness also. I use milspec muffs that I liberated back in the military. They are far superior to most common (aka cheap) muffs found in stores.
