thought I'd post a couple pictures of my results with "the dip"
I used my deadair mask with about a thousand rounds though it.
first pic is the dirty baffle stack. #2 is about 1 minute after dropping the pieces in. #3 is 2 hours later. #4 is the next day(12 hours later. isn't it pretty?) and #5 is the stack after I drained off the liquid, rinsed them thoroughly, and wiped then down with hoppes #9. There was a lot of crud still on them when they came out, but most of it washed off easily. You can see there are still some decent sized lead deposits on the stack. I thought about dipping it again, but decided against it. All in all, I"m pretty pleased, but honestly, I was expecting more of the lead to come off. I'm open to suggestions to improve my technique that do not involve "buy an ultrasonic cleaner"
