My barrel is bent, will it shoot straight?

Based on my experience the answer is yes , as long as the velocity is fast enough. I once was traveling at a fast velocity when the road went crooked to the right , and I shot straight -- so I know it works ! :what:

From what i've found (not much, mostly searching around other forums) the point is to demonstrate that accuracy is mostly determined by the crown and the very end of the barrel.
EXACTLY correct.

As for some of the things posted on this thread... WHY do people feel that it's reasonable post their speculations as if they are fact? If you don't KNOW then say that you're posting a guess or an opinion. If you simply post as if you know the answer when you are really just guessing, that is misleading and dishonest.

This thread is a PERFECT example of why you should NEVER believe anything without checking it out for yourself. And an even better example of how silly myths about firearms (and other things) are started and perpetuated.

Hawkmoon...does this mean we can expect you to point out the incorrect use of there...their..and ...they're... along with bring and take or maybe...too...to...two...? Looking for you to step in. :D
Mark. ps. don't hesitate to point out mine...I make plenty of mistakes!
