My aunt got me this wonderful lead melting pot. I couldn't resist going home and making some .495 balls

The pot comes with it's own electric heating element. The balls are for my Thompson center flintlock. I also have a .454 mold for my Pietta colt 1851 .44

Sorry I'm starting to notice the confusion. The pot and little electric hot plate,eye, element, whatever you call it come as one set. It mentions on the box a range of temperature at which it operates but has no dial.... Oh well maximum temp is a little over 900 so I just ease it up off the eye a little if the lead smokes
