I hated my savage sythetic stock, so I got an idea, why not try bondo on it and see what happens. (I am gettin another stock anyway)
Here is the before pics of butt and forend
Here is a during pic, after I got done with this little part I began to realize how messy it was going to be
Here is another during pic, I was thru one quart of bondo at this stage and did a little sanding to it.
And The finished product................. Going to paint the stock camo soon
And here is my bolt, dont you love it
Another.... also introducing my marlin
My model 60 has so many FTL that it has basically become a single shot. So after shooting about 1k rounds one day pulling that little handle back with my index finger, I got a friend to weld a "handle" on to it. It was polished but I did a quick coat of black, going and finishing the black as soon as I am done typin this

Havent toched this yet, but oh well why not, prolly going to sell and get another savage.
