My favorite .45 is the USP Compact

And here's why:

It is versatile. It can be cocked and locked like the 1911 (Variant 1), or it can fire DA/SA like the Sig P220, with a decocker even.

Its size, though bigger than micro 1911's and the Glock 36, is still relatively compact for carry.

Plus, it's one tough pistol!

I dunno. I never got enthused with any of the HK pistols with the possible exception of the P7M8. I'm sure that they are fine handguns, but they just don't tickle my fancy!!

My .45 compact w/ stainless slide does a number on the 30# freon canisters out to about 80 yards.
Playing "pig" with friends, when I use this pistol, my friends politely ask me to shoot something else, after they lose a few times.

How does it stack up to the Glock 30?

Looking for a 45 for carry, definately a USP fan (Own a 40 and a 45 expert) . . . but I heard the G30 is "it" when it comes to small concealables in 45 . . .
