SORRY, LOTS OF PICS.
i drove to the CMP store in anniston, alabama and picked up these 2 garands on 10-27 and picked up 2 field grade greek returns. got home only to find out that the website was showing service grades available again. so i just ordered 2 service grades. unfortunately, i will likely have to sell one of the field grades that i just got. anyways, here are my first garands. BTW, if you had to sell one, which one would you choose and what price?
in the first picture the top rifle is the 1.86 mil serial and the bottom rifle is the 5.46 mil serial. the second picture it is reversed with the 5.46 on top and 1.86 on bottom
the first garand is a springfield, 5.46 mil serial with a 12-54 SA barrel, trigger group and gas rod are all SA.
the second garand is a danish import i believe. it is a springfield, 1.86 mil serial with a 3-52 SA barrel, strigger group is SA and gas rod is HRA
