I look at the sights when I shoot a handgun, grip style? Who cares as long as it is comfortable when in recoil?

Doesn't point naturally? The 1911 has never pointed naturally. The standard Luger or High Standard, Colt woodsman, Browning medalist, they point naturally as you hold your arm.

Besides repetitive use cures the problem in about 1400 times I believe (not sure of correct number Google it yourself)
