My First Pistol!

My dad gave me a P89dc for my highschool graduation gift, but today we finally got the time to go down and transfer the registration into my name!
I can finally go shoot it without him with me, and I have never been more excited, except when I got my first Hunting Rifle (a 1960's winchester model 100).

Just as a thought, my father is by far my favorite shooting partner. Life will sure get busy quick with work and college (if you are going that route). Don't miss a chance to get out and shoot with the ol' man.

no, that's not what I am saying. I LOVE going out and shooting with my dad, its just that he doesn't particularly see shooting as a pass time. he goes about twice a year, so when we can go, we go. He is very busy. I just want more range time with the pistol. He is a police officer, and has been for 22 years, so the thrill of shooting pistols has kind of worn off for him.
