I feel like I got a smokin' deal on this... from my dad too... He must be gettin' soft in his old age.

I got the gun two mags a holster a box of ammo, and a safety lock and case for $300!

The gun is immaculate and just what I wanted.

He already took care of the hammer spring issue with a 19lb. Wolf hammer spring... the other issue, the safety lock thing that won't allow it to fire without a mag... I haven't thought much about.

I haven't shot the gun yet,... but I don't think I'll be disappointed. I'm glad to finally have a semiauto pistol though. I don't know what I'll get next, the Robinson arms design is inline there somewhere though, and maybe a Saiga shotgun too... but I finally have a good pistol.

Not too shabby!

Nice gun and a great deal. I have been thinking of getting one of those for CCW. Like the idea of a polymer framed 45 especially with summer coming (finally coming rather late this year to Oregon) seems like it would be easy to conceal with summer comfortable attire.

Anyhow, very nice gun and excellent pic too.

I've never been too partial to the earlier Ruger P-85, P-89, P-95, etc. series pistols, as they never felt or balanced right in my hand. The P-345 was the first one that did. the grip is very well designed and user friendly. Plus it's slim enough for folks like myself who have smaller hands to get a decent and comfortable hold on it. You got a great deal there; and a great dad too. Enjoy.

very nice, i have the p345 but mine is blued instead they are awesome shooters, as a matter of fact it is the cheapest handgun in my collection but the most accurate.

Dang, I been wanting one of those,a P-345 that is. Looks like your Dad gave you a really good deal.

Hmmmmmmmmmm...

I don't know man, I think this being your first semi auto pistol and all, you might have to send that nice lil thing to me to check it out first; you know, work out any kinks in it, and all. *ehem* Yeah, so, uh... send it right over... I'll uh... fix it up for you nice! :D

;)

Very nice deal you got there, for sure! Enjoy it! :)

That's great, those really interested me when I first read about them, and when I saw two of them in my LGS I held them, they feel great, and look good too.

And, that's the bit that matters. Awesome deal on a sentimental firearm (it DID come from your dad), and good job on posting the pics! :D

My dad says people seem to either love 'em or hate 'em, the P345 that is... he says a lot of people take issue with the mag dropout/no fire safety. It can be corrected if the owner wants, but I think I'll leave mine be for now.

It feels nice in my hand. Little bit short on the grip for the 'perfect' gun, but for a cc gun, it'll do great.

That is a dead on accurate gun. It's slim enough to carry fine. I've had 500 rounds through mine and no hiccups.
