Great news, follow the after care instructions and you'll be up and about in no time.

Respect and admiration to Mr Anonymous for doing it and Willie for wanting to!

Post #45 http://www.thehighroad.org/showpost.php?p=9712397&postcount=45 is great news. Congratulations, and get well soon!

I have never fired a blackpowder firearm, but I always enjoy visiting this forum. Reading this thread has a tear welling up in my eye - you guys are the best. Out of nowhere, a cap and ball revolver has just jumped to the top of my short list for pending firearm purchases.

Thanks for the inspiration!

Elhombre, I hope you are back up and smelling that wonderful black powder aroma soon. I have been a "long time reader" but now am a "first time member" because of yours and Willie Sutton's archived threads (April 2014) about the Richland Arms' Colt marked ASMs. I'm glad that you will get to keep yours. I was lucky enough to find one on GB and your discussion convinced me that I had to have it. You two also helped me ID the MOFRA Paterson set from Replica Arms in Marietta that I bid on in Cowan's last auction. You guys at THR are my GOTO research gurus before I spend any of my hard earned pension check. Follow all the Doc's orders because there are many, many of us out here still in need of your experience!!!
