I recently completed setting-up my Crazy Horse M21A5 EBR.
The rifle has only been test fired by Ron Smith prior to delivery as a complete barreled action.
Here is a new picture... I am in the process of securing a quantity of quality ammo before I head out to the 700 yard range.

Another inexpensive plinker, eh? (Probably costs more than the total collections of more than half the THR members...)

Looks nice!

It took a few years for me to configure/set-up this one, but I believe my patience and investment has paid off.
Yes, that is the SEI/Fisher M14DC 0.30 caliber sound suppressor. I use it on all of my M14s and my 7.62 AKM :)

You owe me! I am home from work sick, with a kidney stone, and when I saw that I sat up so fast I pulled a muscle.
That is my next project- any suggestions?

Additional details:

Gen 1 SAGE Mod 1 stock
TangoDown Bipod, VFG and pistol grip
KAC sling mount with push button swivel
Magpul CTR, cheek riser #3, ladder rail covers
LaRue LT-608 optic rail with LOW wire EDM SEI rings
Aimpoint Micro T-1 mounted on a TNVC-3PS offset on a Leupold Mark 4 3.5-10x40mm LR/T

Thank you!

Weight (unloaded):

14 lb. and 12 Oz.

16 lb. and 11 Oz. with the sound suppressor

Use of the original SAGE EBR or JAE stock would
increase the weight by a minimum of two pounds.

Thank you!

Weight was about where I thought it would be. I'm anxious to see how she shoots.

Been toying with the idea of a M14 build for a while now to go with the 308 AR's. You sure did make it more tempting with this thread.

I'm sure I could find the specs on the can with a search, but how long is that thing? Looks like close to a foot?

Another great looking build. Nice job.

General Geoff How much of the weight is in the scope and mount?

LaRue LT608

Length of usable rail: 5.75"
Weight: 6.8 Oz.

Kingcreek Very nice! I want one just like it.

seriously, I have a mid 1980's Supermatch that is very accurate but my aging eyes will probably never shoot a highpower match again.
I could re-configure it a little- give it a new life...

Thanks!
I would be happy to offer suggestions and offer tips to re-configure your Supermatch in a sensible fashion
