6 inch barrel and and in nickel, doesnt have the original grips but I got it for 450$

looks like im going to the range today.

I saw a similar gun just last week sell locally for $850. It was a bit more minty and had a box but it sure didn't look like $400 more gun to me.

I'd say you did very, very well.
 
you are correct, i understand you dont measure from the frame but from the forcing cone., 6 inch it is

o yeah the guy i bought it from called me earlier said he found the factory grips. so here it is with those on. he told me it used to have a wood box but the blue velvet was rubbing off every where so he threw the box away.

Wow , that's great you now have the wood grips! That is a fantastic buy at $450! Let us know how it goes at the range with the 29-2.
 
That's a great "got" for that price. I don't like nickel, but I would have bought it anyway for that price. Hope you have a ton of fun with it.
