Just picked up my new Savage Model 12 Long Range Precision in 6.5 Creedmoor. Mounted a Bushnell 4200 6-24x40mm on a TPS 20MOA rail. All I had were some Burris Xtreme rings that are a little too high to get a good cheek weld but I'm going to put a cheek rest on it until I get around to getting lowering rings. The scope is pretty decent. It's not a Nightforce, US Optics, or Mark 4 but I think it will work well for some long range targets. It's a great looking rifle with an awesome trigger.

Congratulations on the new rifle, I'm sure you'll get it sorted out and have a nice shooting rig that will reach out without tearing up your shoulder.
It's hard to beat a 6.5 bullet in any case, so let us know how it shoots.

Congrats, still waiting for mine to get here. I ordered mine in 260.

That thing looks scary accurate but there is only one way to tell I'd really love to see a range report.

I had LRP in 260 rem, I hope after they repaired their production line in the middle of this month yours shoots better then what I had...
