225 grain hollow base wadcutters. Found a good powder that shoots to point of aim and when turned around old school hollow point they become vicious.


I only use USA brands in my ammunition

What's your favorite SAA bullet?

For decades it was just about any 250 RNFP - although I do have a soft spot for the RCBS 45-270-SAA.

I've switched almost entirely to blackpowder now, and have had very good results from the Big Lube designs. (Apparently that outfit went out of business a year or two back, but similar designs are available from Accurate and NOE.)

Got a few myself
 
I am just starting with single action loading. I am trying a new bullet with 45 Colt in black powder for my New Model Army, as my previous attempt was just all wrong. Gotta order some real bullet lube on pay day.
On the other hand, this IS a cool picture, even if the load was bad.

While it's not a SAA, I'm fond of the RCBS 44-250-K in my Blackhawk 44 Special.
