My New Gun Store/Home

Looks good, glad you put some windows and light wood out front. Some gunstores are so sealed up and drab and uninviting. How about some vegetation? Ladies especially love that stuff.

I'll stop by if ever in Laramie. Best wishes.

There's somethin missing form the parking lot. Yep, I'm certain of it, my car ain't there. Dang, sure looks like a nice place for it to be parked, though. :D

WooHoo! Yes, Sir. THR won't think it tacky if you post the street name and city, just in case we're in the neighborhood.

Its about time for another gun store here in town! We even have a new range. Movin on up, yes sir, a regular Metropolis.

I wonder how we rank for number of stores selling guns per capita.

"Looks great! Are you hiring? "

great question! I was thinking of standing on the corner with a sign saying "will work for guns and ammo" but if you want the same deal we could work something out :D

Cool. I went to Wyoming tech about 24 years ago. We using to go to Veedavoo (sp?) between Laramie and Cheyanne on the weekends and go climbing.
I miss being out west.
Looks great. Good luck with the shop.

Looks great, but the sign not centered over the door brings out my OCD!

I was also wondering about the centering..is the door centered or the sign?? maybe a pic from further away is in order! (other than that, I think it looks great!) Can't wait to see some inside pictures!

The door is not centered. The sign is centered on the building.

Well, Laramie isn't that big and it could be found just by driving the main streets. It is on south third/hwy 287.

Some gunstores are so sealed up and drab and uninviting. How about some vegetation?

There is some landscaping near the sidewalk but the parking lot needs a lot of work yet.

Nice font and varnished wood looks rustic.

The 3" thick logs also make it harder for someone to drive in during off hours.

That would be a sign that would get me to stop. Any others don't do it.

Laramie isn't that far from Fort Collins. You offering a THR discount?

I would love to meet anyone from on here, and one could always ask. I won't be offended by any offer.

The artist in me thinks "The sign and door together are shaped like a gun!" :D

Wyocarp, are there bars attached to the door? Maybe I just can't see them in the photo. That's the biggest window/access point you have, so it's something to think about. Also, get yourself up on Google maps with some info, phone number, hours, etc, as soon as possible. You want somebody who searches "Wyoming guns" or "Laramie, wy gun" to find you as easily as possible.

If I ever make it up there again, I'll stop by.

Here's a question: Since Wyoming no longer honors my CO carry permit, I'll be carrying openly in Wyoming when I come. Can I open carry in your store?

Best of luck. My brother is in Fort Collins - we will have to come up next time I'm out your way, and buy a box of ammo.

"Since Wyoming no longer honors my CO carry permit"

damn I've been out of the loop, when did that happen? This is all I could find searching for info on this.

if true I'm glad I read this otherwise I would have probably have broken the law when I finally head up that way. At least I would have been forced to buy a holster for open carry though :p

Hey, man.

I like the horizontal (pine?) slabs on the front. Did you half-lap them into the door trim?

Next time I get back to WY I'll stop in and look over your selection of revolvers and lever guns.
