My New Marlin Model 60

I just bought a new Marlin Model 60. It is the blued model from Wally World.
I shot some Super Colibri through it in the basement. It appears to be quite accurate. I put 4 shots in 2 in at 10 yards in very dim lighting. I will post a more thorough report when I take it to the range.

Looks Like Mine

It looks just like mine, purchased my 60 about 25 years ago, only shot couple rounds through it in the last 20 years, however, I just cleaned it real good and will try it again soon.

I just love wood stocks.
I bought a Marlin 795, while it's a great rifle it has the plastic stock....... Oh for a wood one.
I know you will love that shooter.

Gotta love the Model 60! Take care of it and it'll always shoot straight. The Model 60 is one of the best gun values out there, period.

I've never tried the Super Colibri, but for some reason I thought it wouldn't cycle the bolt in a semi-automatic.

I had to hand cycle each round by hand. They will not cycle the action, too underpowered.
