Very nice, indeed.
The finish makes all the difference.
Mine is similar, with a wide drawer underneath.
No additional support is needed.
 
Nice looking bench! You will enjoy it. A sheet of peg board would make a good back for your shelves and make it easy to hang the odd tool or gadget.
 
Great! Are you ready to take orders? Kidding. I added something my wife uses in her sewing notions to my work bench. It's a magnetic bowel. She uses it for pins and such. I love it for all those little metal parts that roll around on that nice smooth finish, like yours. And then you wonder where that thing-a-ma-jig that completes the gun went. Or that allen wrench, or in my case, the nuts that hold my head on. Oh, and their cheep.
 
That's way too clean, neat, and organized. Show us pictures in a year from now to see what it really looks like. Nice setup. If I ever get my T-Bird back together I should have the work bench cleared that is supposed to be my loading bench and may finally get it set up so I can start doing my own reloading.
