So I finally was able to find a Sig Trailside, it seems as though this gun has been eluding me for years. Every time that I want one I can't find one and the ones I see on GB are more than I want to spend.
Well my search is finally over and I got a LNIB Sig Trailside yesterday! The gun was sold as used but unfired, although I'm not sure how the gun shop determined that a used gun was unfired but nonetheless it does look NIB. It came with the box, manual and original medallion showing five shots at 25 meters.
Sig stopped importing the Trailside in 2005 and is now longer affiliated with Hammerli. The Trailside was never really a Sig gun, it was built by Hammerli and distributed by Sig for a few years and Sig put it's name on it. Now Hammerli is owned by Carl Walther GmbH so the relationship between Sig and Hammerli ended and the Sig Trailside is no more.
The Trailside is an absolutely amazing shooter and if you ever have the opportunity to buy one I would suggest jumping on it. I put 150 rounds of Remington Eley through it with zero malfunctions and the accuracy was superb, easily the most accurate .22 pistol I have ever owned. I also can't argue over the price I paid, $369 plus tax!
