For about the last 10 years, I have been wanting to purchase a Sig Trailside 6" Plinker model. In my area, I have only seen one other for sale, but it was a 4" model. That was 7-8 years ago.
I went into my LGS yesterday, and in the case was a like new 6" Trailside, with the box and every single accessory still there, along with all paperwork. Price was $550. I didn't hesitate after inspecting it. Bought it about 5 minutes after seeing it These have become exceedingly hard to find, and the price keeps going up on them.
The trigger on this particular example is really good. Very little take up and a crisp break. The test target supplied in the box was really good too. It is 5 shots at 25 meters. It is pictured below.
I will be taking it out this weekend to shoot it for the first time. I have 100 rounds of Winchester Match 40gr for it. I can't wait to see what it can do.
I edited out the serial number on the gun pics and the test target. That's why they look a little weird.
