Already getting the itch for another wheel gun. I've got 2 (GP and SP). This time, I'm looking for a SA. I've got two in mind that are on the opposite sides of the spectrum.
1) The new Single Ten. Please, no wise-acre remarks about looks, non-traditional sites, etc. I like this gun and will buy it eventually. Unless I opt for the single six conv. but I don't think I'll ever use the 22 mag cyl. which is why I have the Single Ten as the first choice.
2) Super Blackhawk .44mag in 5.5". I've always wanted one of these. Will pack it in bear territory on fishing trips in the northern states.
Practical and wiser side says Single Ten for the ultimate cheap plinking/rabbit hunting fun. I would definitely use it more.
My dark side says my next gun needs more boom. .22's are sissy guns and I need to blow 3" holes in stuff.
But I'm still leaning towards the Single Ten. I think it will be a super fun gun and I will get more use out of it. Ammo is cheap, too (I do hand load, so 44 mag/spec. won't ding my wallet TOO bad. I'd like to get both, but well, no go for now. I do plan on getting the other one in a year or two.
