Since the G41 is a long barrel G21, it seems to make sense that the G40 is a long barrel G20. Looing at Glocks updated grid of pistols makes it seem even more so

that space is just waited to be filled in lol

I thought they were skipping the Glock 40/Glock Fo-tay/.40 issue and bypassing the 40.

Although it would be awesome if it were a .22. Then the Glock 22 would be a .40 and the Glock 40 would be a .22.

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Also the 10mm zealots would cry foul if their beloved round were associated with the number 40 in any way. ;) :D

As someone else pointed out the glock 40 should really be a 40 short and weak so there would not be confusion of the public buying ammo. Think about it for a while and you can see that it would eliminate a lot of possible errors vs. if it were another caliber.

Gee, long slide 10mm with adjustable rear sight and means to attaching sub-compact electro-optinal sight to the gun? No way :banghead: the 6.02" factory barrel is enough to satisfy us stupid customers.

Buy the G41 and drop a better 10mm barrel into it. From what I hear, any G21 can easily be converted to 10mm with a barrel swap.

Good luck getting reliable extraction with that 10mm conversion barrel! ;) The G21 breechface cut is too wide for a 10mm case, and a 10mm extractor won't work in a G21 slide.
