Mueller Scopes are some the best for rimfire . You get a lot of scope for the money clear all the way up to 14 power. For 161.00 you can not beat the Mueller APT

How well would a Mueller scope work on my .223 Target rifle? Recoil is light of course. I've had very bad luck with a Bushnell scope (considered "cheap") and need to replace it but I don't want to spend that much, I was going to go with Vortex or Redfield but Mueller looks more feature rich.

I have read were some have used them on a .308 , with out any problem. So i think it would work on a .223 I think Mueller rates them on any thing other than mag rounds.

I'm looking at the APT Scope, it is the same as the scope on the first rifle pictured, are those target turrets tool-free adjustment or do you have to loosen the screw (is see a cut for a flathead) first? I like finger-adjustable scopes.

Cmdr, You do not have to loosen anything to set the scope. The flat headed screw is for when you get done zeroing the scope you can set the turrets back to zero.

Them's some crazy scopes for .22s.

Not at all, they're only 4-14 power. They just look crazy because of the lens shade. ;)

To the OP, very nice collection. :D

+1 to getting CCI SV at Dicks.

They sell the 500 round bricks for $25. Compare that to what most stores charge for 100 round packages ($7-8) and you will see how good a deal the bricks are from Dicks.

Why go cheap again? Did you not already learn your lesson? If your second cheap scope fails, then you are out the same amount of money it would have cost for a decent entry level scope. Buy once cry once when it comes to optics, I learned that the hard way myself.
