Hey, Sarge. I got up, poured coffee, peed. No causal relationship there.
I took a shot just for grins with my "Green Gas" powered (propane) MKIV clone at a stick stuck in the ditch outside the back door. About twenty yards. Ish. Can tell the BB strikes from the splashes. Most within 6" or so, some a foot away.
That thing is amazingly accurate and powerful. And fun. Heft and handling like a "real" gun. My sons each got one of different "cloneship." Older son's is a P9 clone, younger's is a MKIV, like mine.
A bit noisy, though, so I only shoot one or two shots and then quit, lest attention be attracted. Sounds like someone slammed a door, except it doesn't shake the building like a door slamming would --purely acoustical noise, not impact noise. Can always claim I was using my staple gun to 'splain the noise, I guess.
Using 0.20 gram
black 6mm SoftAire BBs so I don't leave obvious yellow BB gun spoor in the stream. The dense black ones just sink into the mud and disappear. I got a bag of 1000 white ones which are biodegradable, but haven't used them.
Sights are white three-dot, but the rear one is a little sloppy-loose in adjustment. Have to push to one side for top accuracy. I plan on making a final sighting someday and cementing them down to stay put.
Danged gun is so realistic (except for the red muzzle tip) --the slide bounces back and when empty, locks back.

Got an adapter so the propane tank/reservoir in the magazine can be re-charged from a regular propane bottle, but they say to add silicone oil to it when charging from a regular bottle. The reservoir is in the magazine.

Been shooting it once or twice a day for a couple of months, and it retains the propane gas for about two weeks, unlike my Crosman CO2 guns, which bleed out empty after only a couple of days of non-use. I'm being real careful about getting dust and crap in the charging valves and the like and put a hunk of duct tape over the hole in the magazine to keep the dust out of there.
Loading the BBs is a pain, though. There's no lockback on the mag follower, so you need 2 1/2 hands to do it. You get better with practice, but still end up with BBs on the floor.
If they clean the ditch out next spring, I'll have to stick a new stick in the water for an aiming point.
Decided not to check spelling for adaptor/adapter, let the proffreaders here do it for me. Prolly just alternative correct spellings.
Brushed teeth, pooped. No causal relationship there.
