not a respectthing at all, it's about minimizing the chances of an encounter between a venomous snake and my 16 month daughter. Well just have to disagree on my actions... We will not see eye to eye. I've had this conversation more times than I care to count.

if it makes you feel better, I only relocated the rattle snakes I encountered in the desert in AZ. It's all about context, and there are no absolutes, though many people try to act as if there are.
