I am not very "technological" and my pics keep going away. Here is the only one I can find in my stupid photobucket.

I think you are finally on to something here. It is obvious that Photobucket is the cause of all this misery. Case of the "Piece Of Crap Gun" solved.

I understand the sentimental value of the gun, since your folks purchased it for you for an important occasion. I also understand that you didn't take any of the usual steps to try to rectify the problem -- which all involve engaging with the Beretta customer service department...not salesmen or gun stores.

Give Beretta a chance to make it right - you'll probably be surprised. Brigadier slides acutally allow for replacement (and, therefore, adjustment) of sights - if that is in fact the problem. You certainly won't be any worse off for the effort. If they can't resolve it (although the 7 year delay makes it harder) then you'll have more of a valide reason to complain. As it stands right now, your rants come across as extreme and unbalanced which does very little to win over skeptics.

I also own the same gun, if fact, 2. I liked the 40 SO MUCH, that I bought another in 9mm.

A fellow named Ernest Langon was shooting them and I believe had some part in developing them.

He said the factory put incorrect height sights on that model.

I sent both of my guns to him. He changed the sights, put a overstop on the trigger, and worked on the action. Great job.

Still one of my favorite pistols.

Good Luck with yours.
