I've got a birthday coming up in a few days but my wife surprised me with my birthday present early (I wasn't expecting to get it for another month or so).

1967 (214xxxF) Colt Frontier Scout 22LR/22 Magnun. 4 5/8" barrel, fixed sights, original box. The little round, black thing is a Colt screwdriver that I'm told is pretty rare in itself. I have no idea how rare, but it's pretty nice touch anyway. It says "COLT" on one side, and has the prancing pony on the other.

The gun looks much better than this picture. The flash makes the blue look blotty, but there isn't a scratch on it, not even a drag line around either cylinder. It's been fired, but not much I don't think.

It will be again. Soon.

DON'T TAKE IT! ! ! ! THIS IS A SETUP! ! ! !

She probably wants a new kitchen, a trip to Hawaii or something equally crazy for HER birthday ! ! ! ! :D

Nice present. And early to boot! You got a keeper on your hands bro! :D

Don't forget the range report on how it handles and feels when shooting for those of us that have to live vicariously when it comes to guns we'll likely never own.

Getting a Colt for a birthday doesn't get any better + it's a .22 something that will be shot and enjoyed!

Very nice. Be aware that depending on bore dimensions it will most likely be very accurate with one caliber and not the other. All of the Ruger convertibles I have shot were very accurate with .22 Magnum and only mediocre with .22 LR. Have fun.
