I feel so all alone. want to shoot some matchs but they are few and far between around here. i saw that i just missed one in spokane WA. anyone need an excuse to hit the range, if so i might be able to help you come up with one. farragut state park has a 600 yrd range. its 25$ to reserve the range for the whole day.

Unfortunately I don't live up there in, "lock and load" country. It'd be about a 10 hour drive to get up there.

Well, if I were visiting my Mom in Missoula that might work. I've been shooting in Libby, but that's it. Where is this Farragut State Park? Is it somewhere along 90?

farragut is between Couer d alene and Sandpoint off Hwy 95. its a pretty sweet deal 25$ reserves the whole 600 yd range for your party for the day. farragut is an old military base now its a state park.

Excellent! I thought that name sounded familiar (I probably heard it at my old job dealing with a lot of military folks). I guess we've been by it a couple of times then, on our way to/from Libby.

I wish we were gonna be up there soon.

I make regular trips to Spokane from Galcier Nat Park area. I would be very interested in a range day (or 2) @ Farragut.

If you go to Farragut, try and round up someone that has the petition to keep this range open. There is a group of recent arrivals in Bayview that is trying to close it. I know the petition was at the Sandpoint gunshow, I was the fellow checking guns in there on Friday and saw it.
