NAA is thinking on a .32 revolver between the tiny black widow (.22) and the S&W .32 in size.Using new alloys this little hideout gun might be half the size of the S&W lightweights and weigh under 9 oz and be truely a pocket gun. This is only my take on this go to the NAA web site message board for more info. What do you think?

I'm up for a group buy if they do it with a 2" to 3" barrel and adjustable sights. Oh yea, they gotta let the Kali DOJ dip their beaks also.

If they can make it double action and it will be able to stand up to a steady diet of Cor-Bon ammo. Also at least 6 shot and for under 250.00 then it might replace my Kel-Tec .380 but I doubt it.

How would this be better than a P-3AT.

I can't see it selling well, especially with all the ultralight .38 Spls out there.

.32 what? .32 Mag? .32 S&W? .32acp with moon clips?

I can see it selling well to the "revolvers rule" class. Should be more reliable in a dirty pocket environment.

Well why not? Another tool in the toolbox ain't gonna hurt. If made with the craftmanship of the Mini's, atten tion to detail and lifetime warranty, sounds good to me.

Mixed emotions about alloy, kinda thought a 4 /5 shot larger version of the 22lr/22mag would fill another niche...another when you can't carry role.
NO, mags to worry with, b/t safety notch feature ( which I like) has merit. DA would be great, even without the gun would fit in with too many situations IMO. It's a contact/breath gun...even tho they do shoot very well and accurate at longer ranges.

Price needs to be fair, but I always thought they should do another wheel design. Whom knows what crazy laws or PC stuff might come along...I like semi's...never quit shooting wheels tho'....ya never know. Today's loadings are better than yesteryear...I say yes to the idea. Poll the populace/CCW'ers and listen to us NAA.

We've been asking them to make a spur-trigger, 4 or 5 shot 32Mag for literally years. This would be a modern, truly functional variant of a general type of arm seen all OVER the place between about 1875ish and 1900. The CAS/SASS crowd would go nuts over it.

Hello Sir !

Aw hell Jim, just draw the thing up , send to NAA, attach a note.
If you don't want me to "Diebold your butt-get off yours". :D

No, I never took "Tact 101", why do you ask? :p

[pssst, Jim...I know I know,but... I still want a blue carbon one avail]

I asked Sandy to have his boys make an NAA version of an I-Frame.
A little I frame sized gun that looks like a tiny Freedom Arms.
That's what I want.
.32 Magnum wouldn't be bad.

If it was patterned after the S&W Model 1 I would most certainly buy one. Not only would it make a great hideaway pistol, I bet CA shooters would be all over it.

It would also be fine if it was a scaled up version of their little .22 short revolver.

So many new toys in the works. Well, at least rumors of new toys.

Dave

I would like to see one, if its really about 50-60% of the size of S&W J frames. Obvously the length could not be cut in 1/2 but the height might be reduced considerably and the width could be seriously reduced if they made a 4 shot cylinder. They actually make guns that work and if he does come up with a mini 32 revolver I am sure he will "think it thru".

One reason it will be interesting is because NAA is so inovative

Casull's website says a .32 version of the CA2000 will be available "in the future".

Hope it's not too far away, I'd love to buy one.

The "annoying reload" on the minis is what allows them to be both compact and strong. With no crane OR breakopen action, frame strength goes up and size goes down.

Scale the concept up to 32Mag. So what if the reload speed is low? Although you might be able to fit a small SAA-type loading gate arrangement.

The tricky part is the safety. You want the same "between two rounds" safety system as on the minis. but...that's tricky with centerfire and it might make the cylinder too big (you need spacing between the rims). So that leaves...well, transfer bar, or a manual safety?

Here's a thought: put a manual safety up high to where it's dropped with the same thumb-cock stroke as the hammer? It would look like the gun has "two hammers". But prior to de-cocking the actual hammer, you'd move the safety up first.

Carpetbagger (correctly) notes that, "Casull's website says a .32 version of the CA2000 will be available "in the future". The problem is that Casull's website has had this posted for several years. I would buy one also but wonder if it will ever see the light of day.
