Will never be caught dead without a P238 in my pocket. Ever. There may, and probably will be something else on my person such as an P938 or EMP, but the 238 is a constant.
+1A single gun that I wouldn't be caught dead without?
An empty one.
My loaded Glock 20 and a spare loaded mag....dead without...and tell why. If this is in the wrong section, please move it. TIA
Allow me to add a bit more info: I, and my wife, CCW every time we leave the house, Being a former LEO, I understand the concept of 'personal responsibility'. Therefore, I am NOT going to 'be caught dead' without SOME means of personal protection. For me, now, it's an S&W 640, rated for +P+ ammo. My load of choice is Buffalo Bore's HVY 158 gr. LSWCHP+P w/gas check. My wife carries an S&W 351PD with Hornady's latest.
Others reading this will say they 'wouldn't be caught dead' without their AR, AK, etc, etc, etc. I understand the value of a good rifle/carbine, but tend to think too much emphasis may be placed on something that tends to stay 'hidden' in a safe, closet, etc, rather than something of a more immediate use.
Make sense?
