I seem to be having a little trouble with the width of a traditional front sight. I think I would shoot my Glock 26 more accurately if the front sight was more narrow and or the rear sight slot was wider.

I have found an option from Warren Tactical, the Sevigny Competition Fiber Optic sight.

Anybody know of any other options?

Get a square file that is smooth one side or grind it so. Put the smooth side down and then open up the rear sight evenly on both sides. I opened up the rear on my g29 almost to the white outline on the stock rear and it is near perfect.

Widening the rear sight, interesting idea! Is there a draw back to having a wider rear sight?

Instead maybe a Big Dot would help

Well, after more research I think I might like to try XS Big Dot sights. I tried tilting my Glock so that the front sight is above the rear sight just to see if I liked a sight picture with the front sight sticking up all by itself as the Big Dot does. I liked it! I am still considering the standard dot.

I'm going to post this as a new thread to get more input on the Big Dot sight.
