Warren Tactical w/ Dawson FO on XD

I am looking to replaced the standard XD sights with a Warren Tactical rear sight and a Dawson Fiber Optic front sight. The Dawson FO front sight comes in (2) widths; .100 Narrow and .125 Wide.

Since I don't have access to a setup with both front sights I have no idea the pros/cons on each. It would seem that the narrow might let one pick up on the target quicker, but I don't know for sure.

What are the thoughts?

In replacing front sights ,I find the more narrow ones give you a better sliver of daylight on each side ,usually helping you to better align the sights and increasing accuracy of your shots. It's a lot easier to make a good sight picture with a slightly thinner front in my experience. For just combat it isn't so critical but it really helps in target shooting.
