Has anyone every heard of this group? I recently got a letter from them requesting a donation. It had 3 post cards to send to a Democrat senator(2 for his DC office and 1 for his Arkansas office). No stickers, offers for a magazine or to join a club. I've heard of several other gun rights groups but not this one. I was interested in any info other than what's on line. Thanks.

I joined NAGR, sent in app with a check. Based on e mails I`ve gotten back fron NAGR, I will not renew membership, because now is not the time for NAGR to undermine people`s confidence in the NRA.
If and when we achieve a decisive victory over the Antis, and NAGR challenges the NRA, I`d say have at it and may the better organization win.

I've found that they seem to have a self-serving agenda primarily focused at disparaging the NRA in order to poach their members. They should be exploring cooperative initiatives with the NRA directed against our common foe. I've received repeated emails from their organization that are an obvious solicitation to serve their seemingly singlular agenda - growing their organization at the expense of the NRA and their efforts - rather than serving the common interests of the american people by preserving our collective rights and liberties. I find this exceptionally inappropriate at his particular moment in history when our rights are so imperiled. Had they a more altruistic agenda, I'd be fervent supporter, but I find their obvious efforts to be insulting.

I "friended" them on Facebook. Their logo is so close to the NRA's it can be deceiving. I "un-friended" them because(like ThorinNNY said)they undercut the NRA(very much the same reason I won't support the GOA). I will only support groups willing to work together to acheive our common goals, not a bunch of in-fighters.

I agree with Jungo2, I find it a bit disconcerting that they are trying to create a rift with the NRA. What we don't need is divisiveness in our defense of the 2nd Amendment.

I thought I was the only one who noticed this! I got an email from them as well undermining the NRA and I thought it was pretty shady. I wish they would work together, the last thing we need is a rift in the fight.

I called their HQ and suggested they stop the divisive emails because as I quoted to them, "United we stand, divided we fall" but it seem to have fallen on deaf ears. (Sorry about the clichés)
