Need a .35 Rem load

I just got an older (1970's) Marlin 336 in .35 Remington... and I love it! I've shot the 200 gr core lokt's but want to load some light plinking ammo. I have some 158 SWC that i cast myself and have unique, clays, and varget for powder to choose from. Any ideas?

Not sure how hard your own casting is, but keeping those 158s around the 1000 fps is important in the Microgrove barrel

Lyman is the Book that covers lead reloading the best IMHO...Unique loading in the first link I gave you of around 11 grains is a good spot to start since you have mentioned the powder as being one you have
