Need a powder and bullet rec. for a 30-06

I can't believe no one has mentioned Winchester 760. 150 gr Hornady SP, with 54 gr./760. If you use a RCBS powder measure, it meters exactly the same case after case. 4350 is good too, but it doesn't meter well through a measure.
This load will shoot well with just about any 150 gr bullet. With a well placed shot, the deer will go 7 or 8 feet at the most.

15 years with this bullet

Been using 180 grn. Rem. core lokt for 15 years, backed with H414.. It is accurate, and knocks them for a loop. Have killed many deer and hogs with this bullet.I will never change.

Well actually they have in a round about way. H414 has been mentioned probably 3 times prior, and as many know, H414 and Win 760 are the identical powder in different containers. Identical charges and ballistics can be noted at that the distributor's www.hodgdon.com site.
Also as mentioned, H414/Win 760 work very well in the versatile 30'06 case, as does a dozen other powders that do as well.
