I am building a second AR and can't come to a decision on a 1-4 or 1-6 scope for it. I have a Primary Arms 1-6 on my first rifle and it is certainly worth the $260 I paid for it but I am looking for something a little clearer and with no fisheye around the edges. I am a big Burris fan but I checked out the MTAC at a local store last weekend and didn't like the 1x setting. It gave me a headache and just didn't "look right" when I looked through it. I like my primary arms scope better. Here are the scopes I am considering as my budget is limited.

SWFA SS 1-4
Primary Arms 1-4(don't know if it has fisheye like the 1-6)
Hi Lux 1-4 CMR4
Vortex Viper PST 1-4
Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6(not sure about this one because I swear it appears to be the same scope as the Primary Arms 1-6 that I already own, same body, turrets, almost everything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Any experience with any of these would certainly be appreciated.

I hadn't considered that Leupold before. I found a neighbor last night that has one in 3-9 and I really like that bright red dot in the center. It seems to be a perfect mix between a red dot and a scope. The Trijicon, sadly, is above my budget, although I would love to own one.
