I purchased the Lyman Primer Pocket Reamer because I have buckets full of mil .223 brass and I'm too cheap to get the Dillon pocket swager. I got the Lyman reamer today and tried using it. On some brass, it goes in all the way to the first shoulder and I twist it and it removes the primer crimp. On other brass, Lake City, it doesn't hardly go in at all. I even tried putting it in my drill but it doesn't want to go in to the first shoulder. It came of course without instructions so I can only hope I'm doing this right. How does one go about reaming the pockets? Just push it in as far as it wants to go, even if it's only a little bit, and turn it a couple of turns? Am I making this too complicated? Help me out guys!:banghead:
