Need Ak purchasing advice

I am in the market for an AK-47 but with so many variants out there I am a bit overwelmed. I would like to purchase a qty of 3-4 AK's. 1-2 as shooters and 2 as safe queens for future collector value. I know Arsenal makes a good rifle but that is about the extent of AK knowledge that I know. I see that Atlantic firearms has a good selection of AK's but I am still overwelmed with the different prices and selections. I would like a more traditional AK47 in 7.62x39 caliber and possibly one in 5.56. I want the best value AK for the price (quality, fit, finish, accuracy). I do not think any standard AK is worth over $850 as I feel my Ar-15's are a better quality gun and would rather buy another AR-15 if that is the case with prices. If anyone could give me some advice/experience on AK variants and which ones would best fit my needs I would greatly appreciate it.
