Need Bipod Suggestions Please

I am looking for a bipod to use with an AR15 Varminter. I would primarily be shooting prone but would appreciate the ability to shoot indian style (not a necessity/dealbreaker by any means). What height bipod is typically used for prone shooting? It also need to have a "tilt" feature--to deal with uneven terrain. I do not require a swivel feature or the ability to shoot indian style, though either would be a plus. Please specify the manufacturer/series/model. Thank you in advance.

Harris S-BRM gives you 6-9", swiveling, with notched legs.

How you attach the bipod to the rifle depends on your handguards.

I prefer that it attatch to a swivel stud but the front gas block is railed

Have you looked at Vera-pod? I haven't tried one yet, but I am look at getting one for my FAL.

They have an adjustible height model and several fixed height models. Plus they give you both yawl and pitch movement for tracking moving targets.

Is there any benefit to attaching the bipod to the swivel stud vs. railed gas block or vice versa (other than possible losing sling attatchment site)??
