Need CZ-82 Spring Recommendation

As I had posted here previously the recoil spring on my 82 is pretty weak. It really beats up my hand when I fire it, much more than my 52. While poking around the forumn just now I saw someone with a broken trigger guard that the factory rep said could have been caused by a weak spring, so I decided to get serious.

I looked a bit for springs earlier and Wolff did not list them. Now they have springs listed for it in three different ratings.

14.5lb "factory"
16.5lb and 18.5lb extra power.

Has anyone used these and can you offer any suggestions as to which spring to choose and why? I'm generally shooting the MFS +P 9x18 from SOG.

The 18.5 lbs should tame a little bit the stiff recoil of your CZ-82.
I replaced mine spring with that spring and I am quite satisfied.

That's funny, I emailed Wolff about 2 months ago asking if they were going to offer springs for the CZ-83/82, and they said that they had no plans to produce any in the near future.
Maybe they got moe than just my request.

Try www.makarov.com. They have some CZ-82 springs.

The springs at Makarov.com are from Wolff, appear to be the same thing at a higher price. Looks like they'll be coming out with magazine springs soon also.
