I don't see the point of buying a $250-$300 gun then spend $200-$250 on a stock. Just buy a better rifle.

Changing calibers is simpler, I like a certain type of stock that isn't available from the factory on most guns; the tupperware noodle on the Axis is tolerable if the $$$ isn't there right away for the stock upgrade. Of the three listed, I'd recommend the Bergara, for reasons listed by others above. I have plenty of experience tinkering with 700 actions.

When you can buy an action and barrel that shoot sub minute for 250 bucks and buy a 250 dollar stock. You get a sweet shooting rifle with a way better stock than anything priced at 500. Not saying it’s always the best way to go but that’s the logic behind it.

This is something I've never seen in one of these polls...not a single vote on a question for one of 3 rifles mentioned. Either people didn't notice the Poll, or the choices are not seen worthy of a vote by anyone. HMMM.

All that means is that Browning Arms imported your rifle.

After first manufacturing it in Browning's Viana factory... in Portugal.

"- WINCHESTER IS A REGISTERED TRADEMARK OF OLIN CORPORATION -"
"-- Imported by BACO Inc., Morgan, Utah -- Made in Portugal by Browning Viana --"
