I've got a Leupold Mark 4 PR 4.5-14x40 Mil-Dot scope that'sjust been gathering dust on a rifle for years now, and I'm thinking about selling it (the scope) , and then mounting a Bushnell Elite 3200 4-12x40 that I have lying around un-used. The Leupold has a 30mm main tube, and Bushnell has a 1" main tube, and I'd like to keep using the Warne rings that are on the rifle (Tikka T3 .308) , and I'm thinking some simple adapters are the way to go (right?).
I did a quick search this morning, and found a few, but a lot of reviewers had fitting issues, having to do some grinding on the adapters.
Before flailing around any further on the interwebz, I thought I'd ask the collective for advice and info.
