Hi everyone. I am working on a project in which I am comparing the energy of various rounds of ammunition fired out of different guns (especially recognizeable ones like the M16, AK-47, .22 single shot, 12 gauge shotgun, etc) to everyday things such as a bus, car, baseball, plane, etc. I would really appreciate it if some people with reloading manuals (and the knowledge to understand all of the confusing numbers) could help me out with finding the weight of a typical round out of 5-10 different guns and the FPS. The guns I'd like are :

M16/AR15
Mini-14 or Mini-30
AK-47
12 Gauge slug
.22 rimfire
Colt M1991 (or similiar with .45 ACP)
.50 Desert Eagle
30-06 Rifle

Extra Credit:
Recurve bow (any draw weight, just tell me what)
Crossbow
Compound bow

Oh and one very last thing (this is kind of silly), could someone weigh a nerf dart and then shoot it through a chronograph for me?

I realize that this is asking alot, but I would be infinitely appreciative if ya'll could help me out here, seeing as you have much more experiance with this than me.

Thanks,
Cody

If you look at manufacturer sites, they might provide a muzzle velocity from a given barrel length - probably your best bet for initial info.

The data you asked for is available for just about all commercially loaded ammunition.
Do your own homework.
