Need help with a b-day present, 1911 related

My brother's b-day is tomorrow, he just picked up a new Springfield Armory 1911 subcompact. He already has a paddle holster, but as far I know that is the only accesory he has.

CAn you guys think of any of good accesories around the one hundred dollar range for his new gun? maybe extra mags, and a mag belt holster? or something like that.

Get him 2 Chip McCormick 8 rd magazines, and a few boxes of Wally World .45 ACP Bulk Pack 100 rds...

Maybe somewhere in there even get him a decent belt so that his gun doesn't sag his pants when its in the holster

If you really want to impress him buy him some ammo and some range time or lessons in gun safety.

Other than that extra mags, better sights or maybe some custom grips

He's got the tritium sights, so I don't know if new sights will do any good for him. I like the idea of range time and a few boxes of ammo, as well as an extra clip or 2. How many clips come with a new SA 1911, 2 right?



ON a side note, I found it to be a very funny looking gun, the handle is longer than the slide... Just doesn't look balanced... But I haven't shot it yet.

Go with the custom grips then every time he picks up the gun he will see the grips you got him.
