Need info on 38 spc S&W Model 60

I'm looking for mfg date and approx. value of my S&W Model 60 five shot stainless steel revolver. Markings: .38 S&W SPL, Mod. 60, S/N AEE7979, 5X956 S. Excellent cond. I got it when my Dad passed in 1986. Thanks for any help.

Your dad's gun was made in 1984. If it is the popular 2" model then it would sell for $275 - $325.
