I had a bunch of relatives that were tradesmen.About 1/2 N 1/2,building contractors and machinists.Started working in shops at an early age.Maybe find a relative and start sweeping floors?Ask around,see if there's a shop...maybe a retired guy?...who needs a helper.

Where are you located?Put an ad on Craigslist?
1st part great advice.

2nd part bad idea. 14 year old + internet add + creepy people stalking the web= potentially very bad situation .

This plan can result in your first car as well.

Speaking of first cars and $200...my first car was $200. It was a 1966 Super Sport Chevy Impala with black bucket seats, console shifter, 327 V8 and a 4 barrel carb. I KID YOU NOT!!!

Of course this was back in 1976. :D And I guess it was a little rough. Mostly the paint was faded. But it ran okay, as I recall...once I tuned it up. The next thing I did was buy dual exhausts with cherry bomb mufflers, raised white letter tires and chrome reversed rims. All of that probably cost me more than what I paid for the car. :D. I still have the hub caps for that car...three of them, anyway.

A lot of good suggestions above. When I was 14 I made money by working for local farmers. Walking bean field with a hoe to take care of weeds, cleaning out animal pens of their poop, mowing grass, bailing straw and hay.

Go fund me.

Or if you lived in my neighborhood I'd put you to work.

That's how I got the money to buy gas for my dirt bike and cigarettes when I was your age.

Just kidding. I worked for my parents in a restaurant washing dishes. In the summer when I was out of school I did lots of odd jobs. Jobs were easy to find for a 14 yo. Not so much anymore. I bought my first firearm when I was 15.
Another dishwasher here as my first job. At 14 years old. Paid my older brother part of my check to drive me in to work.

Crazy how those excellent muscle cars sold for cheap in the late 70's and 80's. Every dealer had them sitting in their lot, tookin for granted. While the bandit trans am sold like hotcakes with a mere 185 horsepower. My first car was an '85 cutlass with a bored out 350 rocket. Then replaced with another 350 rocket. Then another. ;) All paid for by washing dishes as a teen. Sorry for the derailment. Again, good luck op. Godspeed.
