Need New Stock For Revelation R210A 30-06

I am finding very little information about Revelation, but I did manage to read something somewhere that the mossberg 810 stock will work on the Revelation R210A..

Is this accurate?

It's my Dad's old gun and as A gift I was going to replace the busted original stock with a new one, and then put a nice scope on it. Would it be worth doing this to a Revelation or will I be better off getting a whole new rifle??

I have the Revelation in 30-06, as well as the Western Field version in 7mm Mag. Excellent rifles with deep blue and fully-adjustable triggers, the four forward locking lugs, iron sights, etc. I would most definitely say it is worth adding a stock and good scope. You can still get Redfield turn-in bases for the 810.

For $75, you will have a great rifle restored with the most deluxe stock Mossberg made (for their Pedersen series rifles/shotguns). So economically, restoring that Revelation makes sense.
