There are a lot of deals on Leupold scopes because Leupold is revamping the Vari-X III and VX-II lines in 2004. Grafs (www.grafs.com) and Midway USA (www.midwayusa.com) have had some great prices on Vari-X III's that appear to be gone now except for a few models. Some were $100-115 off the "Cabelas" price. Other vendors such as Cabelas and SWFA don't appear to have jumped on the discount bandwagon yet, but I expect that they will.
